[DAPreview] M-Cody new's M-20
"The M-Cody M-20 and IM-200 have appeared on Median's website.
The M-20 - referred to by Engadget
as "positively bulky" (7.5mm thickness) compared to the iPod nano
(6.9mm thickness), as well as a combination between the latter and LG's
Chocolate cellphone - will be one of Median's entry-level DAPs. The
company admitted during the last CeBIT that their existing range
(MX-300/400/700) was mainly aimed at the "high-end" user. That's where
the M-20 (specs in English: click) and the MX-800 came into play, 2.5 months ago.
Price shouldn't be too bad for the M-20; the boring-looking,
AAA-powered, USB1.1 slider-type pendrive-based 256MB~2GB MX-800 should
end up being even more affordable. Interesting units for those who are
seeking for Ogg Vorbis compatibility in their simple-profile DAPs, if
nothing else. We can only hope that M-Cody manages to ships some of
their new stuff to the unknowning Western parts of the world. Let's not
forget about the MX-500 either.
That weird PMP/breathalyzer/GPS combo called the "IM-100" has also appeared online. It even supports voice command now. We can't wait to give that one a test spin .
Thanks, engiman"
